What is Stoorie?

Stoorie helps you turn the real things you have done into language you can use in job applications and interviews. You write or speak what happened in your own words, and Stoorie shapes it into a clear story grounded in what you said.

How is this different from a regular AI chatbot?

Stoorie keeps your record, holds everything you capture over time, and gives it back to you as evidence grounded in your captures. We mask your contact details before anything is sent, and we never train AI on your words.

Does my data leave my phone? What about other people’s names?

Yes, your words leave your phone to be shaped. Spoken notes are transcribed in the cloud, and your text is shaped by our AI engine. Before sending, Stoorie masks your contact details (emails, phone numbers and reference numbers) on your device. Names are not masked, so names you mention are processed as part of shaping. The services we use never train on your content, and we do not sell or share your words.

What happens to painful or personal entries?

If an entry is about distress, grief or crisis rather than something you did, Stoorie keeps it as a note in your own words. It is never turned into career language, and Stoorie never makes it into an application on its own. It stays part of your record, so you can find it and it travels with you if you export your data. If an entry signals crisis, Stoorie shows a support helpline. If you ever want to shape one into a story later, you choose to.

Will my stories be there if I get a new phone or sign in on a computer?

Your stories save to your account, so they appear on any device you sign in to. A copy of your original wording also stays on your phone so you can always see exactly what you said. Carrying that across devices securely is something we are adding.

What is a Spark?

A Spark is a story that is missing one piece, such as what you did, what happened after, or a little context. Stoorie shapes what it can and asks one question to finish it. It never makes up the missing part.

Why did Stoorie ask me to confirm something I pasted?

If pasted text reads as already polished, Stoorie asks you to confirm it is your own and happened as written before saving. This keeps your record honest and yours.

Can I edit or delete my stories?

Yes. You can delete entries, and "Delete all data" in Settings removes everything from our database and clears the original words held on your phone. Deleting cannot be undone.

Who can see my stories?

Only you. Your entries are tied to your account and are not shared with anyone. We do not sell data and we do not show ads.

How much does it cost?

Stoorie is free to start. Some features may become part of a paid plan later, but capturing and keeping your stories is the heart of the product.

How do I get help or send feedback?
